"Come On, Let's Go" is a 1958 release by Ritchie Valens. Although it wasn't one of his biggest hits reaching only the #42 spot on the Hot 100 chart back then, it is one of a handful of songs during his short professional career. His most notable hits are "Donna", and "La Bamba". Valens was an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, an early rock & roll pioneer, and a forefather of the Chicano rock movement. His career ended when he died in a plane crash along with Buddy Holly, J. P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson, and the pilot on February 3, 1959. A day that became known as "the day the music died" from the song "American Pie" by Don McLean in 1971. Valens was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
