Hi guys. In this video I did a very non-scientific comparison between Ilford silver gelatin RC paper toning with tea, coffee, and wine.
My process for this comparison- the prints would soak in water for about 5 mins, then sit in each tray for 10 mins making sure the level stayed above the entire print. I used a 1 tbsp grounds to cup ratio for the coffee, 6 black tea bags with about 6 cups of water, and some super cheap red wine. After taking the prints out, wash them for a min in running water, hit each one with the squeegee, and let them dry.
