On November 9th, 2025, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, officers conducted a traffic stop on a silver 2013 Volkswagen Jetta after the vehicle failed to stop at a STOP sign. The driver, Ana Luz Villar Licon, 20, admitted to drinking two cans of beer at a tailgate before a New Mexico State University (NMSU) game. Officers observed that her eyes were bloodshot and watery, her speech was slurred, and she smelled strongly of alcohol. This body cam footage captures the events that followed.
