On March 12, 2024, in Palm Coast, Florida, deputies responded to a shoplifting call. Three suspects fled in a white Toyota; after a brief high-speed chase, the car plunged into a retention pond and all three were arrested. About $1,836 in stolen goods (including 50 Bath & Body Works candles) and a magnetic anti-theft remover were recovered.
