Texas head coach, John Mackovic, makes the gutsiest playcall in college football history instead of punting, which would've given Nebraska (who had all the momentum) a chance to win the game on a game-ending drive. It's 4th Down & Inches from Texas' 29 yardline. Texas beat a Nebraska program that won national championships in 1994, 1995, and 1997 with legendary head coach Tom Osborne. Texas' third-string running back Priest Holmes scored three touchdowns. Ricky Williams, the 1998 Heisman Trophy winner, was the featured back for Texas along with mobile quarterback James Brown.

The main takeaways were the following: 1.) The need for restorative justice practices in our schools; 2.) Discipline approaches where minor infractions are used as opportunities to help students make better choices; 3.) Listening to students who are acting out; 4.) Principals cannot run schools with suspension as the only form of discipline; and 5.) Demanding policy change in the funding of schools and prisons in this nation.$
