This immersive performance system lets a dancer's body control music in real time — gestures shape melody, rhythm, and texture through Ableton Live, while audience excitement levels simultaneously drive Google Magenta 2 generative layers. Performer and audience co-create the music, blurring the line between stage and crowd.

Built at the Music Hackspace Boston Hackathon 2026 by team Dance-Driven-AI-Music, this project is a pioneering exploration of gesture-driven AI music and audience participation in live performance.
