This presentation was recorded at the Music Hackspace Hackathon Boston 2026 — a weekend of hands-on music technology innovation hosted in Boston, MA on June 6–7, 2026. This project won gold in the Google DeepMind track and bronze in the Audiotool track.

Space JAM uses Magenta RealTime to capture real-world moments and transform them into live sound, enabling performers and audience members to become instruments themselves. By processing audio in real time, Space JAM turns the physical world into a shared musical canvas — connecting people through the universal language of sound.

Built in 48 hours at the Music Hackspace Boston Hackathon 2026 by team BunsBuggy, Space JAM is a real-time generative performance system built on Google DeepMind's Magenta and Audiotool.
