Before the Jaguar E-Type and the classic Porsches, Coldplay's Guy Berryman had a wilder plan: buy a Supermarine Spitfire, restore it, and learn to fly the World War II fighter plane himself. It turned out to be a bit too ambitious — "you don't just find unrestored Spitfires sitting in barns."
