The Modern Warfare 2 Beta dates were officially announced at the same time as the CoD:NEXT! So running from 16-20th of September is the PlayStation exclusive weekend 1 followed up all platforms on 22-26th. Also on 24-26th is free access for all platforms, even without pre-orders.
In general I'm really looking forward to seeing what the game has to offer, the early pieces of gameplay that we've seen, very much look like it's mostly like Modern Warfare 2019, which isn't inherently a bad thing but some innovation on top would definitely be nice.
