In a very big twist, news that nobody expected; Overwatch 2 is removing lootboxes. Of course that means that there are going to be new monetization methods added into the game. Main ones being direct purchase of cosmetic and a seasonal battlepass. What the prices of those are going to be wasn't announced as of yet.
