Some were surprised not to see this announced when they announced that a whole new Witcher Trilogy was coming, remakes and remasters being an ever popular thing to release...

But here we are, the Witcher 1 is getting a full and proper remake. That means it's not a straight-up port or upgrade. It will be a reimagining based on the first game but now running in Unreal Engine 5!
