Bishop Takes Rook Mission Walkthrough
Once out of the SUV, follow Marshall and Harrow up the road to the left, through the fiery car crash site. Use the vehicles on the road ahead for cover while shooting down enemy targets. Move up to close the distance, and once all the enemies in this area are defeated approach the black car at the end of the road with its headlights on.

Open the passenger door on the driver's side. After your target, Alawi, comes out, things get turned on their head quite a bit.
Reach Rally Point Echo
On the ridge overlooking the line of Pantheon vehicles and soldiers, you are directed to use your RC-XD vehicle to "soften up" the enemy. Open your equipment wheel ("Up" on the directional pad for Xbox or PlayStation) and select the RC-XD from your equipment.
Deploy the RC-XD and drive it down the hill towards the enemy soldiers. Once deployed, you can navigate the RC-XD from its own POV. You can detonate the RC-XD at any time, otherwise it will explode when it has taken too much damage.
Look for a cluster of three Pantheon soldiers or more to detonate the RC-XD, and you'll also complete the RC-XD-DANGEROUS Challenge!

Kill 3 enemies with an RC-XD in Bishop Takes Rook
After deploying RC-XD, run down the hill and take cover behind one of the vehicles while you take out the remaining Pantheon baddies. With the enemies cleared, continue to follow Marshall and Harrow up the road and into the canyon on the right.
More Pantheon soldiers appear on the ridgeline, opening fire. Prioritize taking out the enemies directly down the canyon path first, then use the canyon walls as cover as you eliminate the remainder. Keep moving up the path, then jump down the dirt cliff to the rally point. What happens next will takes thing for yet another turn.

Wait until one of the Blackshirts walks inside the nearby building, and sneak up behind the remaining thug with an improvised weapon. When Indy raises his arm, attack to perform a takedown that also (surprisingly) wonât make any noise to alert his friend.
Note the small circles in the bottom right when holding an improvised weapon. This indicates the durability of the item, and most things you pick up usually have three dots, which will all be used up to perform a silent takedown. This means youâll need to regularly look for new improvised weapons as you continue.
From here, sneak inside the building and look for the other guard to take him out as well while he looks out a window, or ignore him completely as the door next to him is locked. If you donât take both guards out, be sure to hide the body by grabbing it and placing it behind objects so itâs not spotted.
Back at the entrance to the building, look on top of a wooden crate to find a Pope Article to add to your Field Notes. Some Notes are relevant to your current Adventure, while others like this one are tallied in your Field Notes section that help give context to the world.
Since the alleyway outside also leads to a locked door, and another door to the left outside requires a Rampart Key, the only way to progress is to look for a stairway down in the building.
Youâll be above a small chapel room, and to find a way down, head into the next balcony room and look for a gap in the railing. Turn around and slowly walk backward to fall off the platform and grab the white railing below, then press the crouch button to drop to the floor below.
The room is empty, but be sure to look to the right of the door to the chapel to find a local Map of Castel SantâAngelo. You can also turn around to find a spot on the wall by a coat rack that holds the Rampart Key for the door back above (weâll use it later).
Grab a candlestick before slowly opening the door leading outside. Two Blackshirts will converse briefly, before one starts to patrol down the road between the high castle and the bastions. Take out the lone guard when his friend leaves, and stash his body back in the chapel where nobody will come looking.
The patrolling guard will stop at a barbed wire checkpoint to converse with another Blackshirt, making it a risky endeavor to try to get past them. Instead, look up above to the left along some scaffolding for a bar you can grab onto with your whip and then climb upwards.
From here, look for a flagpole to grapple with your whip and swing across (luckily it wonât alert the guards below), and then sneak along the raised pathway past the checkpoint guard below.
Carefully drop down at the far end while keeping an eye on the patrolling guard, though youâll find the door here requires a Guard House Key. Just beyond the locked door, you can find a few small alcoves further up that make a great spot to ambush and stash the patrolling guardâs body.
Past these alcoves, thereâs a doorway leading into a small barracks. A Blackshirt inside may or may not be looking out the window, so if you arenât able to get behind him, quickly charge in and overpower him before he can call for help.
The small barracks is a treasure trove of loot and worth inspecting thoroughly:
Look for a small red book labeled Punch Out 1 on top of a wooden footlocker below some filing cabinets. This is an Adventure Book, one of my collectible books you can find that can unlock skills for Indy. Each one costs a different amount of Adventure Points to learn, which is why finding Notes are so important!
Speaking of Notes, look on the table by the bunk beds to find Valeriaâs Letter, which is actually an important clue for something youâll be dealing with later in The Vatican.

Over on the wall, you can find the Guard House Key to unlock that door you passed by previously. You can also find a pouch of money (Italian Lira) that should clue you in that there will be things youâll need to buy on your adventure. Just remember what Indiana Jones says: âFascists shouldnât be trusted with money.â So help yourself!")
