The view is the upstairs lounge area Coachman Park's Amphitheater which was called The Venue, but is currently called BayCare Sound due to a multi-million dollar licensing agreement. The view is BayCare Sound's VIP space.
Coachman Park is the new City of Clearwater, FL park that cost the city $84M and which is being very poorly managed by the local monopoly, Ruth Eckerd Hall, who is attempting to encroach on and steal the Amphitheater from the people.
People are starting to wise up and understand the problem. This morning, due what appears to be widespread corruption, I suggested to the Pinellas County Commission (Clearwater is in PInellas County) that they dissolve Clearwater and bring it back into the unincorporated fold of Pinellas. Pinellas County collects a lot of funds that go into Clearwater. Those funds are not meant to allow corrupt city officials to embezzle or aid in embezzlement of others, yet that appears to be a real problem, in Clearwater. It seems the most direct way of eliminating the problem would be to simply dissolve the city.
