This is more proof that Ruth Eckerd Hall is attempting to set up a scenerio to steal the City of Clearwater's Coachman Park's Amphitheater, called the BayCare Sound, from the people of Clearwater.
It appears to be an act of greed, bad faith and a breach of contract strategized into an attempt at adverse possession.
The park is great! The amphitheater is something every person in Clearwater can be very proud of. Ruth Eckerd Hall is just not the right contractor. Keep in mind that REH is a large musical event monopoly in Clearwater, and that monopolies are illegal in the State of Florida.
It is amazing how messy REH's team is. It is as though they think that if they leave the place an absolute mess then no one can enter the area. The reality is that if they choose to be that irresponsible in their clean-up efforts, they are not respecting the property or the right of the people to use the property, and in such, REH should lose their contract. Besides, REH seems to be a bit of a money pit regarding the amphitheater. It serves itself, not the people. Who needs that? Certainly not the people of Clearwater. Others can bring in great bands. REH is not needed for that.
