Coach Kip Turnlock Crossbody Bag Review
I wanted this bag the moment I saw it! This is my 3 month review.
Top Two Pros
1. A white bag I don't need to be fussy with. Easy to use and wipes clean.
2. This goes with everything! Given the size, understated features/hardware and color, it's my go-to bag when I don't know what to use or if I don't want to draw attention to my bag.
Top Con (yep, just one because I like the size)
1. Quality - This does not feel like a luxury leather bag, but it's not priced like on either. I suspect the leather will warp eventually, especially since I primarily use it during the hot, humid months. As noted in this video, it's already starting to curl under on the flap edge that didn't come bent already.
I said I'm more relaxed with this bag versus my more expensive ones, but that really only extends to wearing it with jeans. I treat and store all of my bags the same regardless of price.
If you follow my instagram, you will know how frequently I feature this bag in my ootd posts. This is easily my most used bag of spring and summer.
I don't mean my frank comments on quality and construction to be too harsh because clearly I still feel good about using this bag, but I also want to be honest about how I feel regarding Coach leather and quality. Vintage coach bags can be found everywhere across the US, and the difference in quality is striking!
Note - the quilted version has a different strap. It's part chain, and I do not know if it is adjustable.
Longest strap drop ~ 60cm
Shortest strap drop ~ 49cm
Approximate Outer Dimensions
18 x 14 x 4.5 cm
7" (L) x 5 1/4" (H) x 2" (W)
Internal length - you would have a tough time squeezing in anything over 14cm meaning a plus size phone definitely will not fit (~16cm long).
