To mark the close of our most successful Kickstarter campaign to date, we took the Haven Spectre on an adventure of our own.
This 650-mile journey began in Boulder City, Nevada, and ended at our home base in Sandy, Utah—but instead of taking the direct route, we chose the scenic path through Valley of Fire State Park, remote backroads of Nevada, and Great Basin National Park, where we toured the famous Lehman Caves.
Along the way, we battled rain, tested gear in real off-road conditions, and camped with two Haven Spectre tents in the wild. This trip was a field test of Spectre’s ultralight, weather-ready design—its modular sleep system delivered warmth, comfort, and protection when we needed it most.
We used:
• Spectre Tent System (Monolite body + True Level Pad)
• Dyneema and Silpoly Rainfly Options
• Spectre Straps for flexible setup in rugged terrain

The ride featured two very different motorcycles: a Harley-Davidson Pan America (with off-road capability) and an Ultra Classic touring bike. The contrast highlights how adaptable the Haven Spectre is—whether you’re packing light or traveling heavy.
