Friday Night Frights are BACK this October and Clock Tower: Rewind is starting us off strong! I've been plotting this one for a while, so finally getting my hands on the collector's edition felt like the perfect excuse to step into this 16-bit survival horror classic and see why it helped shape so much of the genre. Jennifer Simpson thinks she and her friends are heading from Granite Orphanage to a beautiful new life at the Barrows mansion but that dream gets ugly fast once Miss Mary disappears, the lights go out, and Scissorman starts prowling the halls with those giant shears 😱 This game had me on edge in such a different way, not just from jump scares, but from trying to solve mansion puzzles while listening for footsteps, watching Jennifer's stamina, hunting for hiding spots, and hoping the next door was not about to become a disaster. We've got our survivor girl, an unrelenting terror, a gorgeous mansion, suspicious adoption plans, and one cursed family secret ticking away in the walls. What more could you want?
