The rain gauge in my Accurite weather station quit working I decided it was most likely some debris in the rain gauge mechanism and that it may need cleaning or service of some sort . I looked on the internet for information on how to do this and after a lot of looking and reading found out how to take it apart to clean it .Inside I found a LOT of spiders ,spider webs, leaves and some seeds in the weather station rain gauge parts. When I took the weather station down it had been raining and I managed to get water in it .
So this video is also on how to dry the weather station out and get it working again . Just in case you don't know you can remove permanent marker using alcohol put some on a rag and wipe the permanent marker right off . BOB
