The main board of the QCX+ from QRP LABS was completed tonight 08/21/2021and set aside while I start to assemble the front panel board in this video on the main board are shown some of the techniques used during assembly . I am pleased with the QCX+ to this point in the assembly .
I did find the resistor color coding confusing and difficult to discern the colors painted on the blue resistor bodies was hard for me to determine the values but my Fluke DMM quickly resolved that issue . Note I forgot to mention in the video that I used my grounding wrist strap when handling and installing the IC's my work shop here is in the basement which has a rather smooth concrete floor this reduces static as well ... 73 Bob
