I picked this HW104 up at the Burnips / Dorr Hamfest in Michigan.
It was in very sad condition . After washing it and reassembly the receiving part works great but there was no output from the PA final circuit board the Driver board worked normally as shown by operating it in the low power mode . I was removing the final transistors and was thinking that some of you out there may want to see how this is done . Note my use of a Weller 8200 soldering gun this gives a lot of heat to heat up those solder tabs on the transistors and allows the job to be done quickly so the board is not damaged . Keeping a soldering iron or gun on the tabs a long time is what causes the circuit board conductor to separate from the board .
