Cleaning, repainting, and repairing a solar powered tabletop candle lantern from Big Lots!. I got this unit about 4 years ago and it has been extremely reliable despite the panel being completely cloudy. Recently the solar panel became detached from the top of the unit, then one of the wires broke off.

While the unit was apart, I figured it was worthwhile to clean up the unit and put on a fresh coat of paint as there were rust spots forming in a few places.

The repair was successful and the unit looks a lot better than it did before. It's just about back to new now, ready to operate for hopefully a few more years of reliable service.
