Hellsing is not a show to go into looking for something deeper than what's on the surface. It's all about the fights and watching Alucard stomp out anything and everything that gets in his way. It's a classic that bringing the most out of its red and black contrast to give us something exceptionally fun and engaging to watch. However, despite the surface level face it shows its audience, a little digging can bring up some very unique themes revolving around the two women Alucard respects: Sera and Integra Hellsing. It seems what the show is really about is freedom.
