7 Deadly Sins has a lot going on other than the generic anime tropes we know. Every single character have interconnected backstories, some going back thousands of years. It creates this web of storytelling that is far more intricately done than most anime, and far better done than we usually give credit. However, that doesn't mean Seven Deadly Sins is without flaws. There are plenty, but if you can look past them you'll find a pretty binge-able shonen with compelling characters, great action, and a deep story.
