These days , modern power dominates interstate freight trains in the Adelaide Hills , and while these newer locos are efficient and quiet, they lack character and a sense of power. So its always great to hear some older noise on trains...especially some EMD 645's !
This empty One Rail Australia grain train , is returning empty from the port , and has a pair of "G" class, and a ALF unit , all with 16-645 prime movers , working hard to get to the summit . Listen as the EMD's sing through the trees and top the grade!
Don't wast this on your phone....get some head phones or listen on some good speakers !!!
