CITIZEN KHAN, coming on December 30th, 2024.
Our first [completed] feature film, "Citizen Khan", directed and co-written by Yoko Higuchi, will premiere on the Resistance Pictures YouTube channel on December 30th! After years of waiting, the time has finally come. The film was shot in 2021 on an iPhone and in one continuous take with no edits in between. It tells the story of a 25-year-old filmmaker struggling to finish shooting his chaotic first feature who turns to an imaginary version of his idol, Orson Welles, for guidance. This was a huge undertaking and a huge creative step forward for this team. We couldn't be prouder of the final results and so excited to share the project with you all. Stay tuned for its release on December 30th!
