Original vs. Fan Film. In anticipation for the “Ghost In The Shell” remake, we at Resistance Pictures released a special “Ghost in the Shell” fan film on this channel that acted as an homage to the original anime films directed by Mamoru Oshii. And two sequences in the fan film are directly ripped from the 1995 film. Here is a comparison video showing the similarity and differences between our fan film and the original. The timing of the shots are the same but our vision was simpler, obviously due to our small budget.
