"DEATH IN THE DESERT" is here! An experiment silent short film in the dune sea.
We're so excited to finally share with you the lost short film that was filmed at the Monahans Sandhills State Park in Texas in 2021. For the past three years, it remain shelved until it was finally restored and reworked into this new version. "Death in the Desert", directed by Yoko Higuchi, is an experimental silent film set in a mysterious sea of sand, following a man who faces a strange figure. The film stars Edwin Chen and Michael Evans and was written by Michael Evans. It was one of the toughest shoots we've ever embarked on, but it was an incredibly rewarding experience. We at Resistance Pictures want to thank Edwin and Michael for their dedication to the project. We all hope you all enjoy our latest project!
