Cinthia transferred to UWM in 2013, earned her bachelor’s degree in 2017, and later returned for a master’s in Urban Planning. A connection with a UWM alum led to her accepting a job as a planner at Michael Baker International before graduation.
“I have been able to make my mark and really bring myself and my roots and keep the community at my core in the work that I do,” Cinthia says.
With the support of faculty, peers and real-world experiences, UWM helped Cinthia grow into the leader she is today — connected, prepared and ready to drive change in her career and her community.
