Brandon, an architectural studies major, had been a member of the Army National Guard for more than four years. He says that a big part of what has made him find success as a college student is the deep bench of military-specific resources UWM offers.

UWM consistently earns Military Friendly School designations for its efforts to create a supportive and welcoming environment for students currently or formerly in the military. The Military Education Benefits Office (MEBO) helps current and past members of the military, as well as their qualifying dependents, access the GI Bill and other military education benefits. UWM’s Military and Veterans Resource Center provides additional resources and events that bring the veteran and military student community together.
