Irelandscapes | Ciaran's '62 Super Dexta At Cushendall - (Traditional N Irish Farming Short Documentary & Scenery) @Irelandscapes | Uploaded April 2021 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Young Kieran from Cushendall is still at a local college on the coast - St Killians. But he's keen , even at this age, to ensure the survival of the family farm into the next generation. His tractor says a lot about his attitude - if it works well, why change it? The family own half of the remarkable Tiveragh 'Fairy Fort' - a column like hill of spectacular views in the centre of a rich farming valley with a plateau top, shrouded in folklore and much revered locally. I've included scenes of the beautiful fairy tree near the summit - always maintaining a healthy respect for these traditions and those that follow them.
Thanks Ciaran and family for the access and hope to see you later in the year!
