It's the greatest celebration in 1000 years; the Millennial Fair! Our story unfolds when the youth, Crono, is awoken by the chime of Leene's bell (not to mention his mother) and heads out to attend the festivities. Soon he shall encounter a mysterious young girl and an event which will alter the course of the lives, and the fate of the world, forever!

Gameplay without commentary of the 1995 video game _Chrono Trigger_ developed by Square and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES).
All gameplay was captured from a North American (Label M/SNS-ACTE-USA, Rear stamp code 40) copy of the game running on a Super Nintendo Entertainment System model SNS-001 (Motherboard Code SNS-CPU-GPM-01, 2-Chip) using a YPbPr component cable from HD Retrovision. Footage has been upscaled to 4K (2160p) using the RetroTINK-4K for clarity.
The RetroTINK-4K is also being used to apply a linear scanline effect as well as a minor horizontal blur in an effort to approach the appearance of playing on a CRT display; as would be commonplace at the time of the game's release.
