For first-time Tony nominees Sam Tutty and Christiani Pitts, the leads of Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), every day has been a celebration. "I could talk literally for ages about how surreal it is that the show I said yes to for six weeks is now up for eight Tonys," says Tutty, who also originated the role of Dougal in the West End production of Two Strangers. "It's the most insane sentence and I've not processed it. I will do so when I'm back home and I can cry for years and years."
