BREAKING: Christian barrister blocked from practicing in Irish courts - Senior Counsel runs away when questioned on transgenderism.
Martina and Ammi Burke today visited the Ploughing Championships in Co. Laois. The Bar of Ireland were present at the show for the first time, with a prominent message of ‘inclusion’ and welcome for all.
The Burkes attended however to question The Bar of Ireland on the ongoing exclusion of Simeon Burke (brother of Enoch Burke) from acquiring a Master and thereafter practicing at the Bar.
Simeon was called to the Bar last year. He graduated from Cambridge University in 2022.
The Bar Council has stated to the Legal Services Regulatory Authority (LSRA), a statutory body, that "every pupil is assured of a master" (2018) and that "there are enough masters for pupils" (2021).
Simeon Burke has sought a master for the last two years.
The Bar Council, in contradiction to its statements above to the government, has refused to provide assistance to Simeon Burke.
At The Bar of Ireland booth the Burkes met Michael O'Connor SC, a senior barrister. Martina Burke explained to him the situation regarding her son and asked him whether people who don't endorse transgenderism are welcome at the Bar. O’Connor replied that he didn't know and subsequently fled out of the tent.
The Burkes also spoke to Ingrid Miley, former RTE correspondent and current Junior Counsel. Ms Miley refused to answer questions and fled out of the tent surrounded by security. Ms Miley was subsequently bundled into a van which left the scene at a high speed.
The Bar of Ireland declares itself to be "committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion". This is a mockery when it simultaneously condones the ongoing exclusion from legal practice in the Courts of a highly-qualified law student who will not endorse transgenderism. The Bar of Ireland is not welcoming to anybody who won't accept transgender ideology.
