Wild flower meadows are now just a tiny proportion of British habitat and those that remain are precious. Summer is the best time to experience the meadows and to enjoy the rot of colour and sound.’ Our Artist in Residence for Nature Unwrapped, award-winning sound recordist and composer Chris Watson has created his Songs of Summer installation as a filmed piece from three meadows in Northumberland and recordings from Northumberland and Orley Common, Devon.
