Kanou (‘Love’ in Mandinka) is a heart-warming Senegalese melody written by kora virtuoso Seckou Keita, one third of the dynamic AKA Trio, when he was on the road. Antonio Forcione’s guitar blends with Seckou's soft vocals and kora playing, as Adriano Adewale’s percussion weaves layers of trans-equatorial rhythms, bridging Brazil to West Africa.
