A shipment of 135 wind turbines departed from China on Thursday, destined for Egypt's 1.1 GW Suez Gulf onshore wind farm — a landmark project that, upon full completion, is projected to produce more than 4.3 billion kWh of electricity per year, sufficient to supply around 1 million Egyptian households.
