Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has condemned the “indiscriminate attacks against civilians”, after a series of Israeli air strikes killed at least 500 people in Lebanon on September 23, 2024. Wang made the declaration during the United Nations General Assembly. On the same day, Wang also held talks with his Lebanese counterpart Abdallah Bou Habib on the sidelines of the annual gathering of world leaders in New York.
