In this video we discover why the Commodore 1541 disk drive gets so warm. We cover a few modern remedies for this problem and then try one out. We’ll instrument our 1541 and collect temperature data with both the original regulators and new modern replacements. How much cooler will our C= 1541 run? Join us and find out.
