A flying chicken attack kick from the friendly neighborhood rooster. Well he's not so friendly. This is what I get when I come out the front door. This chicken hates me. I guess I get too close to his hens and I must be a threat to his brood.
This is a brabanter rooster. Some chickens are friendly, some are flighty and some are aggresive. This attack rooster is very aggressive.
The rooster has since been sold as he became a danger to kick small children who visited the farm. He scratched our niece below the eye when he attacked her and kicked her. That kind of sealed the attack rooster's fate. My wife went to a chicken swap where the brabanter rooster found a new home.
