Touching down from a sunny morning in Chiang Mai, today I’m checking out the brand new Smash Daddy’s burger shop that just opened along Hang Dong Road. This spot is only about 10–15 minutes from the city and sits right next to Big C and the airport road, making it an easy stop for anyone craving hand-smashed burgers. I’ve never tried Smash Daddy’s before, so this was the perfect chance to see if their famous “Smash Daddy” burger lives up to the hype.
Inside, you get full American-diner vibes—burgers, shakes, slushies, and more. I went for the signature Smash Daddy (249 THB + VAT), and honestly, the double-patty beef was one of the best I’ve had in Chiang Mai. Pricey for me, but seriously tasty.
After the taste test, I also stumbled into a secondhand golf shop nearby—another Hang Dong hidden gem.
