Chex Quest HD is a free Steam game that is a follow up to the original Chex Quest that was a free FPS game sent out in actual cereal boxes of Chex. From a gameplay standpoint, there's nothing to get excited about. This is very much standard fare, and is a little bland in gameplay and design. Shooting and levels are pretty much just straightforward. Design-wise, it definitely feels like an early 3D game. The levels are far from complex, and the AI opponents pretty much just come straight at you, making the gunplay feel less satisfying as a result.

However, for a free game overall, it's not bad. I've bought worse indie games on Steam than this game. For the price, you can get some enjoyment out of it. It's running on the Unreal 4 engine, and it's free. You can kill some time with it.
