Ernesto Ché Guevara was a hero of the Cuban Revolution. He died as he lived, as a true Marxist Leninist and dedicated servant of the people, building a movement to liberate the working class and toiling humanity. Specifically, Che died while trying to does the revolutionary movement from Cuba to the mainland continent of South America, via Bolivia, to his homeland in Argentina and beyond.
Ché’s story, image and example continue to inspire generations of youth across the world, who everywhere seeing injustice want to join the struggle to build a better and brighter future for themselves and mankind.
Ché’s message and teaching is more relevant than ever at this moment: when the US imperialists are ratcheting up their Monroe doctrine and attacks upon the Cuban, Venezuelan, Nicaraguan, Puerto Rican, Panamanian, Mexican, Bolivian and other nations. Indeed Imperialism in its death throws is driving to war and actually waging genocidal wars over the entire planet - from Palestine to Ukraine and Russia, Mali and Burkina Faso, Yemen and the Horn of Africa to Syria, Iraq and Iran. Truly we’re are living under the heel of the US and British empire’s regime of global terror.
Ranjeet Brar, general secretary of the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist) is in Cuba for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Birth of Fidel Castro, and sends this message celebrating Che’s life, from Che’s mausoleum in Santa Clara, Cuba, where Che’s remains were repatriated and interred by Fidel and his comrades, and are honoured and guarded by the Cuban Revolutionary government.
Ché’s message is a clarion call today, that cuts across the weak and insipid, hopeless social democratic dirge of all those in Britain today who think that “voting for labour” imperialism will suffice - and hope that if enough “left pressure” it brought to bear on And Burnham, the world and its problems to somehow magically fall into good order and all will be well.
The working class are the ruling class in waiting! We must ease the capitalists from the burden of control of humanity’s affairs, and consign this moribund system that is destroying our planet and humanity to the dustbin of history.
