Video summary of the dynamics in our cellular automaton model of two-dimensional chemical gardens. Each cell is occupied by either reactant A (gray), B (blue), or the solid product C (color depending on age). The basic idea is that the expansion of the pattern occurs mainly in the newly formed C regions (gold), not in the old ones (black).
