This mother opossum was probably hit by a car and has some head trauma. She was very thin and dehydrated on arrival, and because of that her babies were also not in the best shape. After a couple of days mom is doing much better and starting to stand up and eat a little in her own - here I am checking to see that her babies are also still improving. Everyone seems nice and squirmy!
