Characters Before and After a Time Skip
Starting off is the most famous of this Trope: Monkey D Luffy, The gold standard of anime time skips. After the 2-year skip, Luffy returns older, more muscular, and exponentially stronger after training under Silvers Rayleigh, mastering all three forms of Haki and drastically improving his Gear techniques. The time skip marks his transformation from a reckless rising pirate into a legitimate top-tier contender in the New World.
In Adventure Time Distant Lands, Finn is shown in a major Time Skip form 17 years old to roughly 29 years old in a jump of about 12 years. Fin is much more mature and battle worn, and sadly Jake the Dog has passed away to unknown causes, but Finn still holds him dear to his heart.
Next is Animated Batman from the Bruce Timm Universe. Batman Beyond Starts off with Two Time Skips, one in 2019 with Bruce’s Final Year as Batman at roughly 59 years old, and another in 2039 when Bruce is 79 and Terry first dawns the suit. We don’t see how Bruce Built the Beyond Armor or how long he wore it, we just know that this suit gave him a heart attack because the power boost was too much for his body to handle.
And lastly is Adult Timmy which has a number of iterations, but the most fan accepted ending is the Channel Chasers ending where he grew up, has Two Kids with most likely Trixie as his daughter looks like her, and he unfortunately forgot who his fairies were as he is all grown up now. It is possible he might return in a New Wish, but that didn’t happen yet.
