This challenging one-arm Freestyle drill focuses on timing of breath and body rotation.

The goal of this drill is the first rotate through your hips and take a breath through the unactive arm. This should help swimmers learn how to correctly use their core to turn their body and take a proper breath while swimming.

Coach Dominic’s narration and to-the-point scientific approach allows swimmers to learn safely and efficiently about different strokes that will better their swimming technique. Drills such as this one are fantastic for more efficient swimming.

SwimBox was able to film this stroke using their commercial Endless Pool in their own swim studio.
