Chainsaw Man Chapter 204: With One Life
As her and Denji begin to float in the sky, Yoru remarks that the building they’re in is in ruins now. She then realises that this means technically nobody owns it now, and as of such is able to claim it as her own and convert it into a sword. Denji is able to catch her from the ensuing fall. Spotting Falling Devil in the distance, she goes after her, but not before telling him that if he doesn’t deal with the Fake Chainsaw Man before she gets back then she’ll do it herself - safety of innocent people be damned.
As the Fake Chainsaw Man approaches him, Denji attempts to negotiate with his imposter as a way to set the bystanders trapped in him free, albeit to no avail. When the fake mindlessly ignores him, he chastises him for crossing on a red light - dodging his foe’s blows in the process. He manages to decapitate the devilish body before bisecting the devil in two, freeing the trapped humans. Denji attempts to give his thanks to the people who aided him, but the image of Chainsaw Man covered in the remains of the man who imprisoned them, understandably, scares them off. He appears to take the reaction well though, but before he can go to find Yoru he hears a voice call him strong.
The voice is revealed to belong to the Fire Devil, who Denji immediately asks if she wants to fight him too. She tells him no, but she does have a question for him: Does he recognise the face of the Fake Chainsaw Man?
