Chainsaw Man Chapter 195
Asa reveals to Denji that she managed to expel Yoru from her body before turning her finger on herself. Overwhelmed, she breaks down in tears, repeatedly saying she can’t go through with it. When Denji asks if she’s okay, she quickly shifts her aim back at him, demanding that he kill her—otherwise, she’ll kill him. She explains that Yoru has something far worse than extinction planned for humanity. Denji questions why she’s threatening him, but Asa admits she’s too much of a coward to take her own life, calling her attempt at befriending Yoru a mistake. When Denji suggests they can still be friends, she tells him that’s exactly why she’s asking him to kill her.
She then asks him to choose which one of them should die, but instead of answering, he tries to slam a chair into her. Frustrated, she calls him a murderer, though Denji reminds her that she just begged him to kill her moments ago. She demands he apologize and stall for time so she can mentally prepare to kill him, but he crushes her resolve by pointing out that even someone like him—who can come back to life—never truly feels ready to die. Slumping to the floor, Asa confesses her guilt over all the people Yoru has killed because she never spoke up. Denji reassures her that they’ll deal with it after they take down the Death Devil. For now, she should just focus on having fun. Encouraged by him, she joins in, blasting through the abandoned buildings around them.
Meanwhile, at Fourth East High School, a teacher on the festival planning committee informs a new transfer student that many people have left Tokyo, noting that over half the seats in the classroom next to theirs are empty. He then introduces the transfer student—a messy-haired, nervous girl with concentric eyes—who steps forward and announces her intent to “save them.”
