Thanks for joining me on this cemetery explore of Allora Cemetery in Queensland, Australia.
I was out on the weekend looking for abandoned places but was out of luck and happened to see this cemetery way off in the distance on my way home so I thought I'd check it out and I'm glad I did as it had a few surprises as you can see in the video.
I was pleasantly surprised as so as I pulled up to see the substantial shelter that had been kindly donated to replace the old wooden shelter that had originally been there.
I was even more surprised to see the amount of funerary domes that were still in such good condition on many of the graves.
The history and age of the graves was very evident as I walked around and so was the age of a lot of the people interred there in comparison to the amount of children that had died. I tried to find out some history on some of the graves but didn't really find anything. I had thought I may have found some history on the reverend but I could only find one small snippet .

Thank you to everyone for your messages of support while we were in such a serious situation with the bush fires. We spent 4 months living in a thick smoke haze and only last weekend we finally got some decent rain to help with the fires and the drought affected areas that desperately needed rain.
It may not have broken the drought but at least it was a welcome relief. The farmers will need a couple of years of average rain for the drought to be broken. I've provided a link to my instagram if you'd like to follow me there @
