#abandonedfarm I got to #explore over the last weekend.
I wasn't going to explore this place and had driven past it twice but felt compelled to go back.
I decided to jump the fence and see about at least getting a photo of the place and then leave but still I felt compelled to stay and film it even though I kept wanting to leave. I eventually gave into my inner voice and decided to film the place and as you will see at the start of the video I discover the poor unfortunate baby. I have left that part in the video even though you can see I had no interest in filming at that point and was more concerned about saving it.
Once I had saved it I then decided to start filming again but as you see in the video I was far more distracted with the events that had just unfolded than really focusing on the filming process.
Thank the powers that be I was so drawn to stay and film because if I hadn't I am certain the poor calf would have died a slow and horrible death from starvation stuck in that room.
Sometimes things are just meant to be and once again I was meant to be there to save it. The calf had been locked in that room for awhile as is evident from the amount of poop and waste on the floor. I did wonder why the cows were was intent on staying close by the house when I got close to it and had not run off and having saved the calf realized that it was it's mother wanting to be close to it's baby.
